Following a successful collaboration over the past few years—including work on a corporate brochure—we’ve taken on a major project together with Medienhaus Oetinger. Instead of isolated initiatives, the focus was now on the big picture: how a traditional company with a clear stance can be translated into the present without losing its heritage.
Working closely with the Oetinger team, we are developing a holistic, modular design system that connects brand, communication, and space. Step by step, a visual framework is emerging that is flexible enough to accommodate a wide variety of content—while maintaining a clear, recognizable signature. Both analog and digital, big in concept and clean in detail.
The creative heart of the new identity is the founder’s signature. It serves as a unifying creative thread, running through the entire design as abstract lettering and graphic fragments. Sometimes prominent, sometimes subtle, but always perceptible. In this way, history is not merely referenced but formally continued.
The new corporate identity translates the design system into everyday work. Typography, color, and graphic elements interlock precisely, creating a visual identity that radiates calm while simultaneously displaying character. Design that isn’t loud—but is present.
The system remains clear and consistent in the digital realm as well. Layouts, color schemes, and typography follow the same logic as in the analog world, ensuring recognizability across all touchpoints. A flexible design that supports content without pushing itself into the foreground.
The abstracted lettering derived from the founder’s handwriting forms the creative core of the design. Here, history is not merely referenced but creatively reimagined.
Whether on the street, in passing, or under deliberate observation, the new identity works within its context. It blends in without becoming arbitrary—and remains clearly recognizable as part of a holistic brand system. What becomes visible here is not a single design object, but a living system. Modular in structure, open to further development, and underpinned by a clear design philosophy.
