As part of the rebranding process, we analyzed all existing elements, categorized them across various media, standardized them, and translated them into a strong, consistent set of guidelines that now ensures a unified brand presence across all formats.

From the logo and typography to digital and physical touchpoints, the design combines clear structure with flexibility.
To this day, we continue to support the HMS as their branding agency in this core area and beyond, in many other areas, to further strengthen and develop the brand identity.

The Hamburg Media School is a center for film, journalism, and media management—creative, dynamic, and open to change. For an institution with so many formats and touchpoints, maintaining consistency is often difficult. That’s exactly where we come in: With the redesign, we didn’t just create a new look and feel—we created a system that combines flexibility with coherence. Whether it’s brochures, social media posts, print flyers, or the website, HMS now appears familiar, present, and professional everywhere.
Supported by a well-thought-out grid, clear typography, and consistent visual language, the brand becomes tangible—modern, minimal, and with the visual confidence needed for an educational institution that aims to shape the media of tomorrow.
Building on the grid and the animation, we created a unified brand design that translates seamlessly to social media templates. As a result, HMS’s social media channels can now maintain a consistent, professional look that reflects the brand identity in every post and strengthens its visual presence.
Thanks to the unified brand design, we were also able to extend HMS’s visual identity to digital formats such as YouTube and Instagram. The templates were designed to be flexible across all platforms while consistently and professionally presenting the brand in every context.
The Hamburg Media School operates across numerous channels. We developed a visually simple yet high-quality design that unifies this multimedia approach and clearly positions the brand.
With the new design, we have extended the HMS brand identity to various formats, including print materials such as brochures and seminar flyers.
These elements were integrated into the overarching visual system, ensuring that HMS now maintains a clear, consistent brand presence even offline. From its digital presence to physical print materials, the brand is instantly recognizable and professional everywhere.
